Celebrating Hispanic Heritage Month

Here at Grande Cosmetics, we celebrate diversity every day, week and month of the year! Hispanic Heritage Month is here  we're passing on the spotlight to some inspiring Hispanic beauty influencers to help us celebrate 💕

Hispanic Heritage Month is celebrated from Sept. 15- Oct 15th nationwide and honors the tradition and cultures rooted in all Latin American countries. We asked Hispanic content creators @saimuamakeup, @rosariofloresbeauty, @makeupbymurry to tell us more about their Hispanic Heritage! Here's what they said:

Q: What is your background? Where are you from?

A: I grew up in the Dominican Republic in one of the most welcoming Caribbean islands, part of my family is Dominican and my father is of Venezuelan nationality.

Q: How has your heritage shaped who you are today?

A: Currently I consider myself very lucky and proud of my Latin blood, for me growing up in a Caribbean country has given me the strength to move forward and fight for my dreams with love and enthusiasm.

Q: What advice would you give to others of Hispanic/Latinx heritage?

A: My advice is: That you never stop every day to be better and support each other, that we always keep our values high and that wherever we step the presence of our Latin culture is felt through food, dances, warmth, laughter and music.

Q: What is a family tradition you wish to pass down, that your family has passed down to you?

A: My family tradition that will always remain in my heart forever, is that wherever I go I can never miss a good plate of rice with beans and chicken or the typical (mangu) jajaja
